Start Up Weekend 2010
Indy Startup Weekend is June 4 - 6, 2010…
This year’s Indy Startup Weekend is sure to be a hit and CQ is playing a big role in planning this event.
Who will be at this event?
Startup Weekend recruits a highly motivated group of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists and more to a 54 hour event that builds communities, companies and projects. Founded in 2007 by Andrew Hyde, the weekend is a concept of a conference focusing on learning by creating. The program has already met with success in Indianapolis, Toronto, New York, Hamburg, Houston, West Lafayette, indianapolis, DC and more.
What do you do as a participant?
You decide what you want to tackle and end up with several developed companies or projects. Attendees are responsible for bringing the same desire and passion to the project and walk out of the room with the task at hand, in a short 54 hours. Sound intense? It is.
Do you have more questions? Check out the FAQs.

We Support Local Entrepreneurs & Start Ups
In case you haven't heard, we are sponsoring the "Morgan County Big Ideas Competition", a business idea contest, for people of ALL ages within the community who have ideas for new businesses, products, and technologies. The competition will take place during the summer of 2010.
Applicants should submit their ideas online by June 15, 2010 and a panel of judges will review the submissions based on sustainability, scalability, and reproducibility. The winners of the competition will receive cash prizes to help start their business as well as access to business mentors and resources to help learn about business ownership and entrepreneurship.
We are also raising funds to support this initiative -- please note that all contributinos are tax deductible!
